Orbit Plug Valve

The Orbit plug valve, also known as a double block and bleed plug valve, features a non-lubricated design and double seal. This valve is perfect for stopping the flow of these substances. It operates using two sliding blades that create a strong seal, ensuring effective medium isolation. It is ideal for use with aviation kerosene, crude oil, light oil, natural gas, liquefied gas, pipeline gas, and chemical mediums.  

Orbit Plug Valve-Features

When opening the track plug valve, the valve plug and seat separate, so there is no friction or wear on the sealing surfaces. The plug rotates smoothly, ensuring a tight seal at the inlet, outlet, and middle flange. Viton is used for sealing, with the sealing ring around the valve plug ensuring a strong seal.

For maintenance, you don't need to remove the valve from the pipeline. Instead, just remove the bottom cover and replace the sliding plates, making it easy to service.

The valve features a full bore design, so the medium flows through without resistance. The pipeline can also be cleaned by passing through the ball, avoiding the issues of reduced bore valves.

Additionally, the valve can include an optional automatic relief device. This helps prevent abnormal pressure buildup in the valve chamber after it’s fully closed and allows for checking the valve's performance.
