DBB Plug Valve

A DBB Plug Valve addresses the issue of rapid seal abrasion commonly seen in ball and gate valves. It does so by utilizing two independently mounted seating slips on a tapered plug, which retract mechanically prior to rotation. This design guarantees a bubble-tight, verifiable dual seal without causing seal abrasion. The advantage of a Double Block and Bleed Plug Valve is that, during the opening and closing of the valve, the valve disc and valve seat are separated, resulting in no friction and no abrasion to the sealing face. Additionally, the use of a soft seal ensures that there is no leakage during the closing process.
